    Othniel Charles "Niles" Green

    Niles Green, age 68 years, died Saturday afternoon at the family home in Mansfield following an illness of the past few years.

    Mr. Green was born in Mansfield, December 23, 1872 and has been a resident of Ellicottville and Mansfield all his life.

    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lois Green, Mansfield; seven sons, Frank, and Fred Green, West Valley; Walter, Elvin, Joseph and Howard Green, Mansfield; Charles Green, South Dayton; by four daughters, Marabell Meacham, Salamanca, Huldah Meacham, Cattąraugus; Emily Ditcher, Ellicottville; Margaret Sheridan, Salamanca; also by thirty-eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Three sisters, Mrs. Casper Gogel, Mansfield; Mrs. America Laing, Eddyville; Mrs. Bessie Milks, Bradford, Pa.

    The remains were removed from the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Funeral Home, Ellicottville to the family home in Mansfield, from where the funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock; Rev. J. W. Norris of Great Valley, officiated, followed by burial in the family plot in the Maples cemetery.

    The pall bearers were Elmer Meacham, Bert Meacham, Ralph Ditcher, William Sheridan, Donald Sheridan and Lynn Williams.
