CRAM CORWITH - Funeral services for Naomi C. Cram, of Corwith, will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Corwith, with the Rev. Kim Gates officiating. Interment will be in the Corwith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home in Corwith. Naomi C. Cram was born on May 22, 1906, at Bagley, Iowa, to William and Alta Dove Iddings Cain. She received her early education in Windom, Minn. and graduated from the Lohrville High School in Lohrville. On Jan. 29, 1929, Naomi was married to Carroll Cram at Windom, Minn. The couple farmed at Lohrville until 1942, when they purchased a farm west of Corwith, Iowa. Carroll and Naomi farmed there until 1966 when they retired and moved into Corwith. Naomi's husband, Carroll, preceded her in death on May 18, 1979. Neomi was an active member of the Corwith United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Thursday Club in Corwith. Naomi enjoyed cooking and doing needlepoint. Naomi became a resident of the Algona Manor in Algona, on Feb. 10, 2000. She died there on Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at the age of 94. Naomi is survived by her two sons, C. Weston Cram and his wife, Florence, of Nelson, Mo., and Myron Cram and his wife, Mariann, of Corwith; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and three brothers. References
