    MRS. JOHN BERKEL DIED SATURDAY IN MUSKEGON
    Mrs. John Berkel, 46, a former resident of Coopersville, died Saturday at her home in Muskegon after a lingering illness.
    She was born in Grand Rapids and at the age of four moved with her parents to Coopersville, living here for 21 years. She married John Berkel June 14, 1917. For the past 21 years she had been a resident of Muskegon. She was a member of Central Reformed church. Mrs. Berkel will be remembered as the former Myrtle Triel.
    Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Phyllis and Dorothy; an uncle and two cousins.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Clock Funeral Home in Muskegon, with burial in Oakwood cemetery.
