    'Mehitable did not die [prior to Ephraim's remarriage]; on 27 Jan 1742/3 she filed for divorce which evidently was not granted, because on 18 Aug 1746 she again filed for divorce on the grounds of bigamy (the second marriage took place 6 Nov 1676). There is no record this divorce was granted.
