Those from a distance that attended the funeral of Mrs. Develin were: Mrs. Petro, Cambridge City, Ind,; Mr. Charles White, of Carthage, Ind., Mrs.Cooper, of Reynolds, Mrs. Dolson, of Chicago, Mrs. Wilson Henderson and grandson, William Stasser of Rich Valley. Mary Sharp Develin was born November 24th. 1842 at Marion, Ohio, She was the only daughter of Alexander and Mary Sharp. She had four brothers, Thomas, Joseph, Andrew and Alexander, all deceased. She was the last of the family. Her parents moved from Marion, Ohio, to Kentland, Ind., where she spent her girlhood days. She was married to Levi Develin, November 9th, 1870, who departed this life February 6th, 1906. She came to Burnettsville and spent the remainder of her life. To this union were born four children. Three daughters and one son. Those that survive are two daughters Myrta and May. She was a member of the Methodist church since childhood. She died March 6, 1919, aged 76 years, 3
months and 12 days. Funeral services were conducted from the residence Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Aye and Rev. Heeter. Interment in the Davis cemetery.
