    Mrs. Mary Washington Dies in Clarksville.
    Funeral Held Saturday.

    Clarksville (Special)---Mrs. Mary A. Washington, 76, sister of former Mayor W. P. Cornelius here, died at her home on Washington Ave., at 8 a.m. Friday. She had been in ill health for some time.

    Funeral services were held at the residence Saturday afternoon by Dr. S. M. black, of Paris, district superintendent of the Methodist Church and burial was made in Clarksville Cemetery by Jolley Funeral Home.

    Mrs. Washington had been one of the most active workers of the McKenzie Methodist Church, and was a leader in the organization of its missionary society in which she was given a life membership. She was a lifelong residdent of Clarksville.

    Survivors include her brother, one daughter, Miss Mary Washington, Clarksville, and a number of nephews and nieces.
