Father is listed on her marriage record to George Gorringe as James Johnson, a servant, however her children's birth registrations showed her maiden name as Boyce, and the marriage record states she was a widow when she married George Gorringe. It's possible her maiden name was Mary Ann Boyce, father James Boyce, and the marriage record is incorrect.
