Hartzler, Martha Ellen, daughter of Solomon K. and Anna (Knepp) Zook, was born near West Liberty, Ohio, June 18, 1880; died at the Logan County Home, Bellefontaine, Ohio, Jan. 23. 1963; aged 82 y. 8 m. 5 d. On Oct. 12, 1909, she was married to Joseph M. Hartz-ler, who survives. Also surviving are 4 chil-dren (Dorothy-Mrs. Loren King, Anna Margaret-Mrs. Maurice Feather, Harold, and Herbert), one sister and one brother (Rachel and Jeff), 12 grandchildren, and 2 great-grand-children. She was a member of the South Union Church, where funeral services were held Jan. 26, in charge of Roy S. Koch, as-sisted by Homer Knabel.
