    The following information (paraphrased) was found posted online originally posted in the Daily Reflector on Sat the 28th of Oct 1950

    Martha M. (Duby, this spelling has appeared on several citations) HADDOCK, 65, died at her home near Black Jack, she had been ill for nine months prior to her death. Funeral services were held at the Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church in New Bern,NC where she had been a member her whole life. She was buried in the Mills family cemetery. She spent her life in the Black Jack community. She was married to Jesse HADDOCK in 1906 and he died in 1929. She was the daughter of William Nasby Mills and Martha Ann Elizabeth Hardee.

    According to census reports they had possibly six children.
