    Waynesburg Republican April 7, 1921:
Miss Margaret Elizabeth McClintock died at her home in Carmichaels, Monday, April 4. She was apparently in her usual health, having attended church and taught her Sunday School class of girls on Sunday. Her death was due to heart trouble. Miss McClintock was born in Washington, Pa., January 20, 1836, being a daughter of Rev. John and Mary Orr McClintock. Her father accepted a call to the New Providence Church and removed with his family to Carmichaels in 1839, serving as pastor of this congregation for over fifty years. Miss McClintock was a graduate of Greene Academy and taught music for many years. She was an active member of the New Providence Presbyterian Church and the Women's Christian Temperance Union and was highly respected by many friends. Funeral service will be held in the New Providence Presbyterian Church on Thursday afternoon, conducted by a former pastor, Rev. E. D. Bevier.
