Birth place from 1850 census.

I had a death date of 1832 for Malachi from the writings of WH/TM/Paul Oliphant, but he appears to be listed in 1860 census. There is a Malakeah Tidwell (51 yo) in Dickson Co, with a wife Margret (52), and children Josiah (22) & Rachel (16). This all fits the info I already have except for Malachi's name spelling and the conflict with the date of date.

According to WH/TM/Paul Oliphant, he "settled on Old Henry Blackburn Place in Dickson Co. Down the Spring Branch toward Montgomery Bell Park is the Old Squire Richardson place next to the Malachi Tidwell place."
