    Mrs. Louise Herrington Burris, aged 71 of Arkadelphia, widow of George W. Burris, Jr., died Friday in St. Vincent's hospital. A native of Clark County, she was a daughter of the late Jasper M and Julia Ann McBrayer Herrington. She was a retired nurse, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia where she was president of the TEL Sunday School class, and president of Fran's Fans.

    Survivors include one son, William F (Bill) Burris of Atkins; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Rutherford of Bryant, Mrs. Jean Lensing of Little Rock, and Mrs. Wanda Newmann of Atkins; two brothers, Charlie McBrayer of Cooper, Tex., and John McBrayer of Little Rock; five sisters, Mrs. Bernice Stephens and Mrs. Eunice Granite of Madera, Calif., Mrs. Inez Horne of Malvern, Mrs. Florence Evans of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Verna Feimster of Arkadelphia; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Nolan Porter and Rev. Homer Haltom officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

    Honorary pallbearers were the TEL Class and Fran's Fans at the First Baptist Church.

    Active pallbearers were Bobby Herrington, Col. (ret.), Ned Bethea, Jack Herrington, Houston Haltom and Bobby Burris.
