    Lila Janette Lantrip, 77, of Joshua went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2012. A Celebration of her life will be held at Cleburne Bible Church on Thursday, October 4th at 3 pm. In a private ceremony, she will be interred with her husband of 59 years in the DFW National Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Cleburne Bible Church in her memory.

    Janette was born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 11th, 1934 to W.L. (Leonard) and Elba Wheeler Langford. She graduated from Polytechnic High School. Janette retired from Hoffmann-La Roche after 17 years of service, then went on to be a realtor and ultimately an appraiser.

    Her parents, W.L. and Elba Langford and her husband, M.H. (Marvin) Lantrip preceded her in death.

    Janette was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

    She is survived by daughter Jana Lantrip-Stateler and husband Bill, sons Gary Lantrip and wife De and Mark Lantrip and wife Eileen, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Alvin Langford, sister Betty Lou Slawson and many more loving family members and friends.
