Obituary Xenia Gazette Feb. 27, 1901:
Leacy Barton died this morning at her home on Center street, at the age of 76 years. She was the widow of Frank Barton and had been sick for 17 months, for the past three months being confined to her bed. She is survived by the following children: Kate, of Kokomo, Ind., Mrs. Alice Loure, of Troy, and Frank and Priscilla, of Dayton. The burial will be at Cherry Grove, but the time of the funeral has not been announced.
