Lauren Van Emery, 65, of Maroa died 1:25 a.m. Sunday in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery, Harristown.

Mr. Emery was born in Austin Township, Macon County, son of Louis and Jessie Heft Emery. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church.

He married Geneva Lee on Nov. 29, 1933, in Crawfordsville, IN.

Surviving are his wife; daughters, [names of living individuals have been removed;] six grandchildren.
