http://www.usgennet.org/usa/tx/topic/cemeteries/Etx/Kaufman/cemetery/lawrence.htm Lawrence Cemetery, Lawrence, Kaufman, TX "In 1873, soon after the Texas and Pacific Railroad built a line through this area, a Group of investors formed the Texas Colony Association with the Goal of promoting a town. named for one of the Company Directors. The town of Lawrence was established and soon boasted numerous homes and businesses. This community Cemetery began that same year with the burial of seven month old Katie D. Hibbler, including those of many pioneers. The Lawrence Cemetery stands as a reminder of the Area's Early History." 1900, 1910 census for Mary A Hibbler shows 3 children born, 2 living. The Hibblers moved to Lawrence, Tx between 1870 and 1880, Julia born 1875 in Texas, therefore if Katie was their child and died in 1873, she could be the missing child from the census, born between 1870 and 1875 in Lawrence. This is a logical guess only, as yet unsubstantiated.
