    CAROLINE EHINGER

    The funeral of Mrs. Caroline Ehinger, nee Sattler, who died at her home, 816 Hardin street, Wednesday evening, will take place Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from the house to the Walnut Hill cemetery.

    Deceased was born in Eichtersheim, Baden, Germany, May 3, 1826, and came to the United States in 1848, with the family of the late Col. Friederick Hecker, setting with the Heckers in Shiloh Valley. She married March 1, 1850, to John Ehinger, who still survives her, being 83 years of age. She also leaves two sons, William and Emil, both well known contractors and builders of Belleville, and one daughter, Anna, at home.

    Two children, Charles and Mrs. Conrad Stoll, of Birkner Station, preceded her in death. Six grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive her.
