"Julia A. Nickles, 65, of Coldwater, Mich., a former resident of Fremont, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. The Albion, Mich., native was a retired employee of Midwest Foundry in Coldwater. She enjoyed knitting, crafts and cooking. Surviving are her daughters Nillie Moyer of Allen, Mich., Ina Gollnick, Patty Callahan and Harriet Cole, all of Coldwater, Katrena Petry of Angola, Tracy Taner of Camden, Mich., Rita Ake of Sturgis, Mich., and Joy Hasting of Union City, Mich.; sons Ollie Cole of Reading, Mich., Floyd Cole of Allen, Mich., Robert Cole of Paris, Ky., James Cole of Coldwater and William Cole of Florida; a brother, Dale Wardwell of Albion, Mich.; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; and a son, Dean. Private family services will be held. There is no calling."
