Emmert, In the Mineral Creek congregation, Johnson County, Mo., of apoplexy, April 8, 1892, Bro. Jonathan Emmert, aged 72 years, 6 months and 25 days. His remains were brought to Centre View, Mo, for interment. Funeral services by Eld. Jacob Witmore from Rev. 22:12. -Sarah Witmore.
- ↑ He sold 120 acre of land to his son Joseph H Emmert for $2278.
- ↑ Jonathan Emmert and wife and J. Byerly and wife were granted letters of membership, Sept 21, 1888 from the Centerview Church of the Brethren, Centerview, Johnson Co, MO. Where they spent their time between 1888 and 1890.
- ↑ I believe Mineral Creek Church is in Leeton. It is about 15 mile away from Centerview.
According to the records of the Mineral Creek Church, Jonathan Emmert was received into the church by letter February 19, 1890. The records indicate he died April 10, 1892. He was a deacon.

Page 488 in Will Book E Last Will and Testament of Jonathan Emmert of the county of Johnson in the State of Missouri revoking all others, do make and publish. This my last will and testament
First to my son Joseph H Emmert for whom I have already made provision I give and bequeath the sum of fifty dollars
Second I give and devise to my only daughter Elizabeth and her heirs and assign all my Real State Situate in the town of Centerview County of Johnson State of Missouri consisting of six town lots and improvements "to wir (67) sixty seven (68) sixty eight (69) sixty nine (70) seventy (63) sixty three (64) sixty four of said town of Centerview Together with any and all other Real Estate of which I may die seiqeth and possessed to have and to hold the same to her my only daughter Elizabeth her heirs and assigns forever. And lastly as to all the rest resisue and remainder of my personal Estate whatever after payment of all my just debts including Doctor Bills if any for attendant upon me during my last Illness and the necessary funeral expenses. I give and bequeath the same to my beloved daughter the said Elizabeth Emmert whom I appoint my sa***** Executer of my last Will and Testament here by ** aforesaid revoking all former Wills by me made

State of Missouri Count of Johnson}ss In Probate Court *** ** remembered that on this the 5th day of May AD 1892 before me R A Harnick Judge of Probate Court held in and for the County and the State aforesaid personally appeared A P Henshaw wo is one of the subscribing witnesses to the anorexia Will of Jonathan Emmert deceased and being by me forst duly sworn depose and say that the said Jonathan Emmert the testator subscribed the same in his presence and published and declared said Will or instrument of writing to be his Past Will and testament and as the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty one years of age and thus said deponent attested said Will as Witness Hencto by subscribing his name to the same in the presence of the testator and of each other and as the request of said testator J P Henshaw
