John Pulteney (born before 1668, died 2 May 1726) was an English Member of Parliament.

He was first elected for Hastings on 25 October 1695, and sat until the general election of 1710. He also served as a Commissioner of the Board of Customs.

John Pulteney was son of Sir William Pulteney, and uncle to William Pulteney, later Earl of Bath. By his wife Lucy Colville he was father to Daniel Pulteney, whose granddaughter Laura also became Countess of Bath.
