Johanna went to Adelaide and married Harold George Pank (1882-1935). Pank, an optical inventor, developed with Charles Laubman, an important and innovative national-wide optical business, Pank and Laubman. She worked as a nurse in the Royal Adelaide Hospital and died in an accident at the age of 52.
