    HEINRICH SATTLER, born in Eichtersheim, Baden, Germany the son of Jacobus SATTLER and Wilhelmina BAUMSTABER; husband of Anna Maria GANTNER whom he married in Eichtersheim October 3, 1814-

    The Satter's were friends with Col. Friederich HECKER, the father of the 1848 German Revolution. Two of Heinrich Sattler's daughters immigrated with the Hecker family to America. Col. Hecker acted as their guardian until they married in Belleville, Illinois.

    Heinrich was a master wagon maker.
