    Was a farmer and stockman, death was caused by pneumonia following influenza. The Flickinger home is on Mission creek on the Dover road about fourteen miles sw of Topeka.. He came to Kansas with his parents and had lived in the community ever sence. Married Miss May Lyttle, daughter of W. M. Lyttle. Feb. 2, 1906. He was member of the Congregational Church in Dover and had been superintendent of the Sunday School for many years. In addition to the widow, he leaves two children, William and Ida Mae, a father, Harvey Flickinger of Willard; a brother W.L. Flickinger of Topeka; four sisters, Mrs. William Lyttle, Mrs. Paul M. Lyttle, Mrs. Joseph Thomson, of Dover and Mrs. John Rogers of Willard, His mother Harriett Evalene (Carter) Flickinger died 11 yrs. ago.
