Jarris Lonona Morgan, 79, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2006 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on November 13, 1926 to Frank Graves and Johnella Hunter in Topeka, Kansas. She graduated from Topeka High School. She was a foster grandparent at K.N.I. and a child care worker in the Headstart. She was a Foster Grandparent with the Women's Recovery and a Nursery Nanny and a private nanny. She was a member of the St. John AME Church and the church pianist. She was a pianist for Antioch Baptist at age five years until she turned 21 and pianist for surrounding churches in Topeka for seventy years. Survivors include: three sons, Jack Jefferson, Edwin Jefferson, both of Topeka, and John Henry Morgan, Austin, Texas. Visitation: Wednesday, October 11; 4-8 p.m. Bowser-Johnson Funeral Chapel, Inc.
