    JANICE MAE MORIN, Ph.D.
    On May 5, 1989, Janice Mae Morin passed away at the age of 39 years at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton after a very courageous battle with cancer.
    She will be sadly missed by her mother Edith Morin of Winnipeg, Man.; her father Douglas Morin of Vancouver, B.C.; one brother Ray­mond of Vancouver, B.C.; one sister Marilyn of Fort McMurray, Alta. and numerous relatives and dear friends.
    She was a lover of nature, sports and the cultural arts and spent a great deal of time on geneology. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She received her doctorate degree from Brigham Young University, Ut. and taught at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, in the Faculty of Home Ec­onomics, Department of Home Studies.
    The family wishes to express thanks to Dr. J. Mossey and his associ­ates and the nurses and staff of the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Cross Cancer Institute for their dedicated support.
    A private service for the family will be held In Winnipeg, Man., on Wednesday, May 10 at 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church, 505 Academy Rd. on Saturday, May 13 at 2:00 p.m. A memorial service was held in Edmonton at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church, 108th Street and 82nd Avenue, Sunday evening, May 7.
    In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, contributions may be made to the Cancer So­ciety or a charity of their choice.
