    Obituary - Jacqueline Rose Watson Jones, 87, of Sanford, Colo. died under family care and surrounded by loved ones on Sept. 7, 2007 at her home. She was born May 23, 1920 in Lansing, Mich. She was the second of three girls born to Evart Watson and Eleanor Legg Watson.

    The family later moved to Meeker, Colo. She married Kenneth Calvin Jones on Jan. 1, 1942 in Sanford. They were sealed on May 7, 1942 in the St. George Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Jackie and Kenneth had 8 children; Kenneth (Elaine) Coulter, of Eugene, Ore., Marsha (George) Stephens of Durango, Colo., Charla (Ernest) Coley of Sanford, Patricia (John) Gann of Sanford, Kevin (Pamela) Jones of Sanford, Kathy (Warren) Crowther of Sanford and Callie (Brett) Johnson of Pleasant Grove, Utah.

    Jackie loved nature, including birds, camping, fishing and almost everything to do with the outdoors. She had a green thumb and could grow anything. She had beautiful flowers and gardens. She canned everything imaginable. She loved animals, especially cats. She also enjoyed raising all types of poultry. She was an excellent seamstress and quilter. She enjoyed crocheting, handiwork and other craft projects. She loved to read and do jigsaw puzzles. Her loving presence and witty personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

    She is preceded in death by an infant son, Calvin Eugene Jones, her husband Kenneth and her two sisters. Survivors include her children, 28 grandchildren and 58 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Mon., Sept. 10, 2007 at the Sanford Second Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with burial to follow at the Sanford cemetery.

    Friends may pay their respects at Rogers Family Mortuary in Manassa, Colo. from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday or from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church.
