    Jackson Maize, 72 years of age, and formerly of Schuyler County, passed away at his home Wednesday morning, three miles east of Novinger. Mr. Maize had been in very ill health for the past year, death being due to pneumonia. He had been a resident of Adair County for the past 15 years, moving from Schuyler county. Since his residence in Adair he has made his home on a farm in the Goben Ranch community. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mr. Clarence McKim, of Kirksville, Mrs. Wayman, of near Kirksville, and one son Albert Maize, of near Novinger. He also leaves one brother of Kirksville, Eph Maize, and a nephew, Billie Maize. Funeral and burial services were held Thursday afternoon at the Jewell church. Mr. Maize is well known in both Adair and Schuyler counties, and leaves many friends who will extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
