    His Life...
“God saw the road was getting rough
The hills were hard to climb.
He gently closed those loving eyes
    And whispered peace be thine!”

Jack Clifford Jefferson, Jr., 65, went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2017 as he passed away peacefully at home. Jack was born in Topeka, Kansas on June 14, 1952 the son of Jack C. Jefferson, Sr. and Jarris Lonona Jefferson (Morgan). As a child he was introduced to Jesus Christ and attended church at Brown Chapel A.M.E. Jack attended Topeka Public Schools and was a 1970 graduate of Topeka High School. While in high school, he was active in band where he participated in the THS Concert and Marching Bands. In addition, he also played on the THS Football Team, where he received many awards and accolades. After high school, he attended Kansas State University where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1974.
After graduation from college, Jack began his career and worked in a management capacity at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas and American Econo-Clad Services. In addition, he also began managing Duncan’s Movie Magic, where his love for watching movies begun. After surviving and overcoming a debilitating car accident, Jack began working at Westar Energy (KP&L) where he worked for 18 years retiring in 2015. In addition to his love for movies, he enjoyed watching sports and was an avid K-State football fan.
