In the name of God Amen I Jabish Bears of Morris Town in the County of Morris and State of New Jersey being tho weak in Body yet of Perfect Mind and Memory do Make and Constitute this My Last Will and Testament and Principally I give my Soul to God from whom it came and My Body to the Earth to be Buried in a Christian Manner and as (___)ing such Earthly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God and as (____)ing such Earthly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I dispose of in Manner following Viz. It (is) my will that all my just Debts be paid. Item I give to my beloved wife Catherine the use and priviledge of one half of My Dwelling House During her Widowhood and one Equal third part of the profits of my clear Estate after my Debts are paid during her life in lieu of her Dowry. Item I five to my Son Daniel five pounds current Money of the State and it is My Will that all the Remainder of My Estate both Real and Personal being either Sold or (apprized) at the Direction of My Executors to be divided Equally among all my other children only so that my son Joseph shall have two grants to any of the others one portion and if any of My Children Shall die under age and without issue that part of the Deceased be Divided in the same proportion among those that Survive and I constitute my sd. sons Joseph and Daniel Executors of this my Last Will and Testament Whom I hereby authorize and Impower to sell all or any of my lands and to give a good Title for the same as I myself could while living. Ratifying and Confirming this to be my Last Will & Testament in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand & seal this sixth Day of April Seventeen hundred & Seventy seven.
