    J.M. DEAN DIES MONDAY
    FORMER GREENVILLE MAN BE BURIED IN THIS CITY THIS AFTERNOON.

    J.M. Dean, 58, former Greenville resident, died at his home in Trinidad, Colorado, Monday morning, according to a message received here by Naud Burnett, brother of Mrs. Dean.

    The body will be shipped to this city and will arrive over the Katy at 9:50 o'clock this morning. Funeral services will be held at the Neer and LyBrand chapel at 3 o'clock this afternoon, with interment following in Forest Park cemetery. Greenville Masonic Lodge No. 335 AF and AM will have charge of the services.

    Mr. Dean was born in Tennessee and came to this city when quite young. He was married to Hattie Burnett, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G.L. Burnett, in this city, and they made their home here for several years. During his residence in this city, Mr. Dean was employed by a railroad. For the past twenty years he had resided at Trinidad where he was a railroad conductor.

    He is survived by his wife and a number of relatives in Tennessee.
