On 14th July 1889, aged about eighteen, Isabella married James Cran Neel Robson, a painter and decorator.

Sadly Isabella died after just over a year of marriage, aged 19. She was buried at Bishopwearmouth Cemetery in Sunderland on 24th February 1891. The census of a couple of months later finds James living with Isabella's widowed mother, who was still living at 3 Thompson Street. James remarried three years later.
