All info from Donna Corcoran at Ancestry.com. Also this: Burial:Sunset Hills Cemetary,Genesee Co.,Mich. Cause of Death:Massive Coronary, due to many things. She was a small woman, abt. 5' tall, 130#, light brown hair, blue eyes. Very quiet, kind lady, she worried about everybody else, and was always there, for anyone. She raised 3 kids, since Doug was always off doing his outdoors stuff. But, they also did a lot together, I believe they have seen almost the whole USA, and she loved fishing and camping and all that stuff, too. They, both, cared about family, their kids know just about everyone on both sides of their families, it was good times. She worked at Hurley Hospital, and then at Smithbridgeman's, downtown Flint, for many years. She was just a good, wonderful woman. One memory was of being up hunting with Dad and Floyd Funk, in Aunt Mary's great big tent, and the straw on the floor caught on fire, and she got all of us kids out, with no injuries (we were very small, Gary a baby) and the whole tent burnt up, and Dad had to come back and tell Aunt Mary we had burnt her tent up, and oh how he hated to have to tell her that. One time she said she was going to spank me if I wasn't good, and I told her she would have to catch me, and out the door I ran, with her right behind me, and she caught and she did whack my butt. Her and I spent alot of time together after Dad died, we took several short trips, and at least one long trip every year, we had such a good time, but I wish I would have spent more time with her. I have a book "To My Daughter" and in it she put alot of her memories, and it is so nice to read.
