    Helen Louise Mueller
    May 16, 1927 - March 15, 2014

    Helen Louise Mueller knocked on heaven's door and the door was opened. Helen walked through on Saturday, March 15, 2014.

    Helen was born on May 16, 1927 in Independence, Kansas to Orrie V. & Lucille Snook; and was raised in Kansas City, Missouri.

    She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frederick M. Mueller, Jr.; her brother and sister-in-law Orrie & Marcia Snook of Columbia, MO; daughter Paula Austin of Dallas; and daughter and son-in-law Sandie & Bruce Rummel of Lewisville; and her cherished granddaughters: Liz & her husband Dr. Brian Mazzarella; and Stephanie & Katie Rummel.

    After raising her children, Helen went to work for Texas Medical Foundation - they were her second family for 30 years.

    Helen wished to be cremated and her remains interred at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, close to where she and Freddie were married.

    Her memorial service will be held on Monday, March 24th at 11:30 a.m., at Parkhills Baptist Church near Rollingwood.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westbank Community Library, Austin, Texas.
