Harold Edward Dunbar, formerly of Newington, passed away on Sat., Sept.6, 2008 at Senior Country Living in Lunenburg. He was 97. He was the beloved husband of the late Mabel Elizabeth Dunbar (nee Zummach). He was the dear brother of <names of living individuals have been removed>. He will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Orin John and Sarah Edith Dunbar (nee Brownell), and by one brother Floyd (Ruth) of North Gower. Visitation was held at the Brownlee Funeral Home in Finchon Mon., Sept. 8 and at Newington Wesleyan Church on Tues., Sept. 9 followed by a service in celebration of his life with Rev. Krista Shaverofficiating. Interment followed at North Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Prairie Bible Institute or the Newington Wesleyan Church would be appreciated by the family.
