He married Isabelle Hentz who was born in Newport, Lake, Illinois, USA, the daughter of August Hentz of Germany(Prussia) who spent some time in Scotland and married Jane Smith - a daughter of John Guthrie Smith (my great grandfather) and Mary Haddow and sister of my grandmother Barbara Smith. So George Smith Wallace married his first cousin. He was a first cousin of my father and so too was Isabelle Hentz. George and Belle had two sons
