On her 1885 birth registration, her first name is clearly spelled with an 'i' as Francis Elizabeth Harrison. Similarly, on her 1921 marriage registration, it is spelled with an 'i' in 3 places on the document. However, on her grave marker in Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario, her first name is spelled with an 'e' as Frances E Jackson. Her commonly used name was Fanny.

1921 - Marriage: Francis Harrison 36, married James Jackson Irwin 44, on Nov 17, 1921. They planned to be married at Pearseley, Parry Sound and live in Magnetawan. This was Fanny's first marriage (she is listed as a spinster on the registration.) This was Jim's second marriage. On the marriage registration, Jim is listed as a widower.

1962 - Death and Burial: Fanny Irwin 77, died September 17, 1962 after being struck by a car on Highway 11 in Sundridge, Ontario. Source is Kari Squarzolo, Irwin Family Tree, Ancestry.ca. Cannot locate a death certificate. Fanny was buried in Strong Cemetery, Sundridge, Ontario. Source is a photo of her name on the same grave marker as her husband, James Jackson Irwin who died in 1941.
