    Birth: May 20, 1862
    Death: Jun. 19, 1882
    FERDINAND BRESSLER, a young man employed in the South Belleville Mills, met with an accident Saturday morning last, while attending to his duties, receiving such injuries as to cause his death on Monday evening. It was not known exactly how he received his injuries, but the supposition is that while he was passing near some of the machinery he as caught or struck by a wheel or belt and hurled against a post near where he was found lying. He was unconscious when found and remained so until he died. A post mortem was held Tuesday afternoon, which developed that the unfortunate young many 's skull was fractured at the base and the jaw was dislocated. A quantity of extravasated blood was found at the brain cavity. Young Bressler was about twenty years of age, and was the chief support of his widowed mother.
