Evelyn Meade, 94, of Topeka, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at her home. She was born November 26, 1918, in Topeka, the daughter of Holmes and Dorothy Scott Meade. Evelyn received her B.A. degree from Kansas University and attended Katherine Gibbs College, Boston, Massachusetts. She was active in the Junior League of Topeka and worked for many years at the Meade Insurance Company. She is a member of Grace Episcopal Cathedral. She is survived by her beloved Ben Wilson.
