  3.   Note: Source:Converse, Charles Allen. Some of the Ancestors and Descendants of Samuel Converse, Jr. of Thompson Parish, Killingly, Conn, p. 44, says sister Phebe married Elon Stone and removed to Clarksville, OH. Mrs. Bellia's information says that Elon Stone d. Clarksfield 23 Nov 1852, age 85:9:9, so born about 1767 (14 Feb 1767 in Danbury, CT, according to Mrs. Bellia). So matching him with Phebe b. 1752 is not a likely match. The gravestone cited for Esther shows Mr. Converse had the wrong sister.
