I believe her to be the daughter of Jonathan Morel from Cambridge, Washington Co. NY. All I have is a pension information on a James Carr m. Margaret Morral, 9 Feb. 1784, Cambridge, Washington Co., NY, by Edmund Wills, J.P., at her father's house, Jonathan Morral. In 1840 Heartman Morral, her brother, gave affidavit regarding marriage. I base my ideas on the fact that Heartman Morrel later shows up where Uriah is living. Cambridge is not far from Pittstown and Uriah and Elizabeth named one of their children Rensselear.

In the 1800 census there is a Heartman Morrell living in Scipio, Cayuga Co., NY 10010-10010. Gail has that this is a father or brother. I believe it to be a brother.

Carolyn Hubbard has that Elizabeth Morrell was born April 12, 1770 in Mass., and died Sept. 19, 1853 in Genesee Co., Michigan

According to cemetery record Elizabeth was 83 years, 5 months, 7 days old at death. With a birth calculator this would put birth at April 12, 1770.

1830 Census of Town of Walcott, Wayne County, New York p. 190 Richard Sharp 000000001-0000001. This would put Elizabeth in the 40 to 50 range which would be inconsistent with her age later.

Appears to be living with daughter Eleanor Decker in Genesee County, Michigan on the 1840 census between the ages of 80 and 90.

Living with daughter Eleanor Decker in Genesee County, Michigan on the 1850 census at the age of 80.
