Research required - what relationship is Betty Moffit to Elizabeth Moffat, age 25 enumerated with the Walter Moffat family in the 1861 census? Mary Louise Young referred to her as Elizabeth McGee,rather than Moffit. That is consistent with information from Mary Gow that Betty Moffat married a McGee. However, the age of 25 would indicate she was born about 1836. Was she a daughter of this Elizabeth Moffat, and a niece of Walter Moffat?
