Identification of her Father

The Visitation of Devon in 1564 names her father as John Lord Gourney. It is not impossible (with a bit of adjusting of estimated birth years) that her father was John de Gournay, son of Anselm de Gournay, but there is no evidence that he was her father other than the coincidence of him having, more-or-less, the same name. Cawley (the source for John de Gournay) does not call him "Lord" and he is included on a page of Untitled English Nobility.
