Hadley 27 May 1713, graduated Harvard 1738, ordained 20 Oct 1742, dismissed 4 May 1758 after many years of rancor over payment and doctrine, remained in Westminster to 1770, then removed to Walpole, NH, and practiced law. Massachusetts Spy dated 5 Aug 1784: "Died in Lancaster, Elisha Marsh, Esq., of Walpole N.H., occasioned by a fall from a horse a few weeks before at Roxbury." Married (1) Widow Deborah Lothrop of Boston, m. (2) Mrs. Susannah, widow of Samuel Willard of Lancaster.
