KOK, Edward F., age 60, of 106 Hawley St., Lynden, passed away in a local hospital, Saturday, Nov. 4, (1961) following a short illness. Mr. Kok was a retired farmer and had made his home in the Lynden area since 1904. He was a member of the Bethel Christian Reformed Church. Surviving are his wife, Grace; six sons, Rev. Louis Kok of Seattle, Hilbert, Marvin, Edward G., John, and Matthew Kok, all of Lynden; two sisters, Mrs. Arie Schouten, Lynden, and Mrs. Phil VanWeerdhuizen of Sumas. Also 20 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 2 p. m. with Rev. Andrew Zylstra officiating. Burial will follow in the Monumenta Cemetery under the direction of the Gillies Funeral Home.
