Bax, Edward William - recently returned from his life's work as a missionary in West Africa, passed away at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in his 59th year. Loving son of Siets Bax of Shelburne and the late Bert Bax (1996). Dear brother of Adrian (Gail), Dorothy (Niko), Betty (Roger) Egger, Hilda (Herb) Service and Albert (Kristin). He will be sadly missed by his nephews and nieces, fellow labourers and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Hockley Valley Resort,#793522 3rd Line EHS, Mono in the Montclair Ballroom on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 12-1:30 p.m. Funeral service at Hockley Valley Resort, Montclair Ballroom on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. Edward passed away from Mesothelioma as a result of working with asbestos at a boat plant in Ontario in his youth. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mesothelioma Society would be appreciated by his family.
