According to "The Genealogical and personal memoirs relating to the families of Boston and eastern Massachusetts," Ebenezer Parker, son of Aaron Parker, was born in Westford, Massachusetts, June 29, 1749; died there December 29, 1831. He was in Prescott's regiment at the battle of Bunker Hill. At the time he was mounted courier at the headquarters of General Washington. He was in Captain Butterfield's company. He married Experience (Keep) Hildreth, widow of Hosea Hildreth, and daughter of Captain Jabez Keep, in 1777. She had five children by her first husband and eleven by her second. It is recorded on her gravestone in the Westford burying ground: "She was a kind and affectionate mother of sixteen children, a wise counsellor and a friend to humanity."

After her death, in 1817, Ebenezer Parker, her husband, went to live with his son, Dr. Jabez, in Richmond, Virginia, where he died in 1831. In 1897 John L. Parker visited Richmond and placed a marker of the Sons of the American Revolution upon his grave.

Rebecca, born 1784; died 1808, aged twenty-four. 5. Dr. Jabez, born 1788; married 1812, Roxanna, daughter of Benjamin and Mehitable (Robinson) Fletcher ; settled in Richmond. 6. Mary, born 1790; married 1813, Samuel Farwell. 7. Dorothy, born 1792; married Asa Stratton. 8. Salome, born 1793 ; married Asa Stratton. 9. Loammi, born in West ford. Massachusetts, August 2, 1795, died in Charlestown, 1836. He married, January 9, 1821, Mary Amanda Whitcomb ; children : Rebecca Antoinette, Sarah Augusta, Amanda Melvina, Hannah Tor rey, John Tyler, Joseph Arnold. 10. Eri, born 1797; settled in Littleton, Massachusetts; married Eliza Whitney, May 13, 1806; children : John Warren, Eliza Ann.
