Was Lieutenant in the Militia, Justice of the Peace, and held the office of Deacon in the Cong. Ch. for 30 years. … Daniel d. May 27, 1776. His sons Jonah and William were appointed administrators of his estate in his will, which was admitted to probate July 4, 1776, 'Independence Day.'"
