    Mrs. Cretora Miars, 83, of 105 Morgan St., died Sunday, March 12, at the Edgerton Memorial Hospital.

    Mrs. Miars was born Aug. 2, 1905 in Jackson Center, Ohio, the daughter of John and Ilea (Hughes) Leininger. She married Granville J. Miars in 1925. He died in 1958. She was a member of the Jackson Center Seventh Day Baptist Church, Women's Circle of the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church and a guide at the Milton House for many years. She was also a cook at Camp Wakonda.

    Mrs. Miars is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ilou (Don) Sanford of Milton, Mrs. Joy (Sandford) Cole of West Caldwell, N. J., Mrs. Carol (Neil) Aiken of Burlington, and Mrs. Mary (Keith) Burdick of Sanger, Texas; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Hyatt Leininger of Jackson Center, Ohio; one son-in-law, K. Spencer Howard of Milton. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Adeline Lee Howard. Memorial services will be held tonight, March 16, at 7 p.m. at the Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church. Burial will be at a later date in the Seventh Day Baptist Cemetery in Jackson Center, Ohio. Albrecht Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
