---------------------------------- Tue, May 29, 2012 at 9:45 AM My name is Mike Carr and I live in Alexandria, VA. I am the great-great grandson of James F. Carr and Martha Watts. I have been reading your pages with great interest and wanted to tell you that prior to the advent of the Internet, my father, Wiley E. Carr, Jr. conducted many hours of research on our family history and I am slowly picking up the mantle. I did want to a couple of things that I hope are of interest to you. According to my father, Coleman Carr and Abner are one in the same. His name is actually Abner, but for some reason was called Coleman. This was told to him by a cousin. Additionally, the three children of William T. Carr that were sent to the Catholic Orphanage in Mobile were sent there after William’s death and due to poor economic conditions.
