Fredrick G. Hipskind, 89, Wabash. died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2003, at Miller's Merry Manor West.

He was born Oct. 31, 1913, in Wabash County, to Clifford and Minnie (Long) Hipskind. He married Mary Baker in November of 1934. She preceded him in death May 26, 1984.

Mr. Hipskind was a graduate of Wabash High School and a lifetime resident of Wabash County. He was employed at B. Walter for 30 years, retiring in June 1978. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Wabash.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ervin (Rosita) Hahn, North Manchester; three grandchildren, Jody Kisner, Wabash, Mrs. Eddie (Judy) Sours, Warrington, Va., and Fred (Beth) Ford, Lagro; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at McDonald Funeral Home, Eddingfield Chapel, with the Rev. Melissa Rice officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.

Friends may call on tuesday from 9 a.m until the time of the service.
